About Us

Rosaburn House is a purpose-built care home in the heart of East Kilbride, proudly serving the community since 2006. As one of Northcare’s longest-established homes, it has built a strong reputation for compassionate, person-centred care delivered in a warm and welcoming setting.

The home offers 66 comfortable bedrooms across two dedicated communities: the ground floor supports older adults who are frail or require additional assistance, while the first floor provides specialised care for residents living with dementia. This thoughtful layout ensures that every resident receives care tailored to their needs within an environment designed to promote comfort, safety, and dignity.

Rosaburn House continues to blend Northcare’s family-led ethos with years of experience, creating a place where residents feel supported, valued, and truly at home.

Hair & Beauty Salon

Our Hair & Beauty Salon is situated in the relaxing and beautiful surroundings of Rosaburn House. Our Salon’s approach is to support our philosophy of enabling residents to enjoy life to the full by providing combined hair, spa and beauty treatments within a familiar environment that is safe and secure.Staff have many years of experience having gained their expertise, both academically and practically, working in some of Scotland’s best known salons.Our Salon has the knowledge to work with all age groups, skin and hair types and our highly trained staff can always be relied upon to give a warm and friendly welcome while creating a moment of luxury.

Dining & Nutrition

Breakfast, lunch and dinner is served in the main dining rooms in Rosaburn House. We provide menus which are frequently reviewed to ensure that we offer nutritious well-balanced meals for our clients daily.Rosaburn House has private dining facilities available with butler service for special events or celebrations. Menus can be developed by the head chef and tailored specifically to suit our clients and guest’s requirementsAfternoon Tea is served daily between 2pm and 4pm within the dining rooms of Rosaburn House. This service is complimentary for our clients and their visiting guests

Private Dining

The private dining room can be used for many different events such as drinks receptions, afternoon tea service or to quietly relax and read one of your favourite books. Hospitality staff are on hand to serve you if requested when using this facility. This room is a real focal point for both relaxing and socialising.

Residents Gardens

The private gardens at Rosaburn House provide an opportunity for clients to enjoy our beautiful outdoor surroundings. This secure area has been designed to maximise the garden space available and includes a wide variety of features such as meandering paths, wild flower garden, potting shed, BBQ area and green house.

Entertainment & Activities

We develop monthly activity programmes and schedules which include outings and regular entertainment including the use of our private cinema, music room & arts. Residents can book the cinema for private screenings for a special occasion or a select group of friends or family.Personalised activities are also developed to suit individual clients preferences.

Settling In

We take the time to get to really know our residents, both before they arrive at Rosaburn House and during their stay with us. Good communication is central to residents happily settling in successfully with us and we like to find out as much as we can. Upon arrival we discuss with our new client, and ideally also with their relatives, their background and complete a life story book. This enables us to provide personal care and dialogue that is tailored specifically to their needs.

We make sure that residents are always comfortable, reassured and dignified during their stay with us.

Our teams are specially trained to support individuals living with dementia, offering safe, calm, and inclusive environments designed to promote independence and comfort. Clear signage, familiar surroundings, and secure gardens help residents feel at ease and confident in their daily routines.
