About Us
Opening in March 2026, Winton Suites is Northcare’s newest purpose-built luxury care home in Edinburgh – a next-generation residence designed to redefine what five-star later living can be. Thoughtfully planned from the ground up, the home brings together exceptional comfort, innovative design and Northcare’s signature warmth and care.
The building will feature welcoming lounge spaces and bright, beautifully designed dining areas, blending classic refinement with a fresh, modern aesthetic. Every area has been designed to create a sense of calm, connection and contemporary elegance.
Our bedroom suites have been crafted to set a new benchmark for comfort and privacy. Far removed from traditional care home design, each suite will offer a spacious en-suite with a rain-head shower, a double bed, call-bell system, telephone access, high-speed WiFi and Sky TV – creating a serene, private retreat for every resident.
With its thoughtful layout, luxury interiors and Northcare’s commitment to exceptional care, Winton Suites is set to become one of Edinburgh’s finest care environments. A place where residents and families can feel confident, comfortable and truly at home.

Bedroom Suites
All of our bedroom suites at Winton Suites by Northcare are finished to the highest of standards and include large en-suite’s with rain head showers, call bell, telephone facility, high speed wireless internet connectivity and Sky TV facility.
We offer two styles of suite at Winton Suites by Northcare. Our junior suites start from 237 square feet and our executive suites start from 291 square feet. Both options are appointed to the same standards with exquisite finishings.
We recognise that bedroom suites are our residents home. We encourage them to incorporate their own furniture, art and treasured possessions from home. We can even help with this transition by providing our very own removal service to assist. A Turn Down Service is provided by our Housekeeping Staff and a daily newspaper selection is available to all suites.
Hair & Beauty Salon
Our Hair & Beauty Salon is situated in the relaxing and beautiful surroundings of Winton Suites by Northcare. Our Salon’s approach is to support our philosophy of enabling residents to enjoy life to the full by providing a luxurious range of hair, spa and beauty treatments within a familiar environment that is safe and secure.
Staff have many years of experience having gained their expertise, both academically and practically, working in some of Scotland’s best known salons. Our Salon has the knowledge to work with all age groups, skin and hair types and our highly trained staff can always be relied upon to give a warm and friendly welcome while creating a moment of luxury.

At Winton Suites by Northcare, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional hospitality. Our award winning culinary team believe fine dining is one of life’s greatest pleasures. Bespoke, curated menus that not only delight our clients but also accommodate special dietary requirements are carefully perfected. We understand the importance of shared meals in promoting connections and offer family-style dining experiences that encourage togetherness and community. Attention to detail and unparalleled service ensures that every meal is a delightful and nourishing experience.
Environment & Interiors
In every Northcare home, our goal is to establish exceptionally comfortable, uplifting environments and spaces our residents are proud to call home and excited to invite their family into. Our architects, designers and experts in senior care have helped us to provide outstanding facilities, with care at its core.
The interiors at Winton Suites by Northcare are bathed in natural light and exude relaxed elegance. All bedroom suites and public areas are finished to the highest of standards with the finest finishings throughout.
The Brasserie
The Brasserie is Located on the top floor of Winton Suites, The Brasserie is an elegant, atmospheric and relaxed setting where our clients can host their visitors and enjoy some of our chefs fresh home baking served by our hosts. The Brasserie is also a well-used space for entertainment purposes for live music and special events. The Brasserie is open daily between 10am and 5pm.
Entertainment & Activities
We develop monthly activity programmes and schedules which include outings and regular entertainment including the use of our private cinema, music room & arts. Residents can book the cinema for private screenings for a special occasion or a select group of friends or family. Personalised activities are also developed to suit individual clients preferences.
